Barbara and Colin

Barbara and Colin were married on May 28th at the Dataw Island Club just outside of Beaufort, SC.  Barbara got ready in a private home, and then we captured their First Look on the steps outside.  We took Barbara and Colin to a series of beautiful locations around the island for couple’s portraits, and then returned to the Clubhouse for their ceremony and reception. The reception included heartfelt toasts from the fathers of the bride and groom, as well as a specially made Polish wedding bread.

Casey and Kerry

Casey and Kerry were married on December 30th, 2011. They got ready downtown at the Hyatt Regency, and then we took some couple’s portraits along Bay Street and River Street after their first look in the hotel lobby.  A trolley took everyone up to Forsyth Park for some more portraits and the ceremony, and then we headed back downtown to Vic’s on the River for the reception.

Nicole and Chris

Nicole and Chris were married on November 26th, 2011. The entire wedding was held at the Mulberry Inn – from the bride and groom getting ready in the hotel’s lovely rooms, to an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard, a bubble-blowing send-off in front of the inn, and finally a joyous reception in the ballroom. We took Nicole and Chris and their family and bridal party over to nearby Washington Square for portraits, and then on to River Street and Factor’s Walk, before returning for the party. The wedding was filled with thoughtful DIY touches including handmade fabric flowers, a clothespin cake topper, and personalized golf tees given away as parting gifts.

Ashley and Darren

Ashley and Darren were married in Telfair Square on October 22nd, 2011. The reception was held at the Jepson Center for the Arts. which is also where Ashley got ready, and where we took family portraits. After the ceremony, we took Ashley and Darren over to Orleans Square for a couple’s portrait session. Special recognition is due to wedding planner Jeannie Sims of At Your Service/Bride Savannah, and to Anissa at Urban Poppy for her stunning event design.
