Two of the most photographed places in Savannah in one day, and they still feel like yours when the timing is right.
Victoria and Andrew's wedding is about as Savannah as a day gets. Vows at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist, then outside under the oaks, then the fountain at Forsyth Park, then a black and gold reception with a checkered dance floor.
Inside the Cathedral I am looking for the color. Gold, marble and stained glass do most of the work, so I stay out of the way of the ceremony and use what the room already gives me.
Then Outside
The fountain is the picture everyone wants, and everyone in the park knows it. We go straight there, we get it, and then we find the quieter paths with the azaleas and the low oak limbs. That is how you get the famous shot and something nobody else has.
