Savannah First

Most photographers will tell you they love Savannah. I lived downtown for years, and I know which square goes quiet at which hour.

I have spent 14 years photographing weddings in this city, and Savannah is most of what you will read here. The squares, the oaks, the river and the light that makes all of it look the way it does. The rest of the Lowcountry is close to home too.

Your Photographer

hi, I am Vitor

I have spent 14 years photographing weddings, 450 overall and over 400 of them in Savannah. I lived downtown for many years, so when you hire me you get someone who already knows the coordinators, the vendors, the parks and how fast the light goes behind the oaks.

I will make you look beautiful, and I will get you back to your people.

A Day In Savannah

the Getting Ready

A wedding here moves. It usually starts in a historic house or a hotel with tall windows, and that soft window light is the first thing I look for when I walk in.

Then

the Vows

Under the oaks or under a painted ceiling. Every venue has different light and its own rules, and I already know them, so you never have to think about any of it.

Then

the Walk

A square, a fountain, a brick lane. I know the best locations and the secret ones. We go straight there, you look beautiful, and you get back to your people.

And Finally

the last Light

Down by the river or out under the moss, the end of the day is why people fall for this city. We plan the whole timeline so you are standing in it.

Plan Around The Light

when is your Date

In October the sun sets around 6:55 PM in Savannah. I would start your portraits around 5:55 PM, while the light is still soft under the oaks.
